Whenever I encounter a wild and unruly creek or billabong, I get excited about the possibilities of painting a loose impression. Of course, loose doesn't mean rough and ready. It takes years of working with colour harmony, form, design and drawing to build the tools to be able to render a loose work effectively.


(Watercolour on Arches 300gm archival cotton rag paper. Unframed paintings will be shipped rolled inside a tough cardboard tube. Framed paintings will be couriered, bubble wrapped inside a securely packed cardboard box.)
