My mantra for most Australian landscapes is "mute the greens, mute the greens!" Bright greens do occur of course, but are very difficult to execute pleasingly in a painting. They work well in England, but in Australia they are best restricted to occasional accents.


(Watercolour on Arches 300gm archival cotton rag paper. Unframed paintings will be shipped rolled inside a tough cardboard tube. Framed paintings will be couriered, bubble wrapped inside a securely packed cardboard box.)
